In Darkness hidden,
There to abide,
Barely appearing,
Is the monster inside.

Acting normal by day,
Being consistently eyed,
Never suspecting,
That there's a monster inside.

Different day came,
To Face lied,
Ever provoking,
The monster inside.

Keeping cool,
Going with Tide,
Trying to again calm,
The monster inside.

Standing as not to fall,
Inside I cried,
Trying to break through,
Was the monster inside.

Angered beyond Meaning,
All feelings collide,
Defense being shattered,
Out came the monster inside.

Into Blind Rage,
All reasoning died,
Unconscious action,
Terror from the monster outside.

Calming down,
With all strength to hide,
I must again hold,
The monster inside.

Sense returning,
Defense wall wide,
But beware because,
There's still a monster inside.

Crouched as statue,
Citadel top flight,
Waiting for prey,
Silent creatures of night.

Appear as stone,
Fooling sight,
A labyrinth of evil,
Silent creatures of night.

Growling lowly,
Eyes slight red,
Claws extended,
Ready to strike dead.

Target sighted,
Actions read,
Unaware of evil,
Soon be dead.

Movement started,
Predators in flight,
Prey never suspecting,
Silent creatures of night.

Sound of death,
Blood rain bright,
And so again perches,
The Silent creatures of Night.
